ROSES

Morning everyone thought I would check in with the brightest bunch in the gardening world and ask for opinions on my  roses as we have had such a mild and wet winter when should I start to feed and spray the roses.

Last year the roses suffered with black spot they have been covered with compost through the winter and I am concerned because they are budding nicely.

I know I should clean off all the old compost and burn it then apply new compost with a rose feed because the black spot spors attack the young buds any help on this matter would be most welcome

Spraying starts when the buds are opening but I would prune them first but It might be too early, so I would just spray don't feed yet we might still get some bad weather and it will encourage soft growthimage

Yes spray everywhere,I wouldn't feed until you've pruned them it all depends on where you live, if it's down south it will be okimage
