I started going tropicalbut noticed a lack of bees in the garden, but the wasps were on the up.So this year i have been busy planting old faithfull varieties and this year the bees are as strong as ever. Can you harvest bumble bee honey?
I am looking for things of intrest and good for nature nut.
I have grown this year some giant hysop.i got them from china, and they say that it is in the top ten in chinese medicine. It tastes like aniseed and is nice done like mint tea.
I hope to take some seed this year, they are still in full flower yet and the bees love them. They are like salvia only they grow 3-4 feet in height.
Am off to visit another NGS garden today. Wonder what will slip into my pocket on the way round When I get back will list all the seeds I have already and can remember.
