I think you mean the Euphorbia griffithii fireglow, diddy. I just dug a load out. I never get seed off this. You can have a chunk of root when it dies down. It does tend to spread though. The leaves turn red in Autumn.

I dont get much success with the chinese seed's,i dont know if it is how they are collected or stored,i just hope to get just one or two to germinate then it has been wothwhile. I just sown them as normal as to the so called instructions usuing just a multi purpose compost. I must admit I ony had around half a dozen that germinated, so I was quite happy with that.Now i have i plenty of home grown on good old english soil seed,s to share.If you would like some i do have them on my swap list,just tell me what you would like and leave your contact details.

How did you get your hat seeds to germinate? I tried this year and failed. My packet is exactly the same with Chinese instructions.
