Do those beetles go for Opulous as well ?  My Tinus doesn't get too badly affected, just wondering if I need to get an eye out for these on the other viburnum. Thanks

I haven't experienced that Peanuts but those beetles can't be relied upon.

I have 2 x V.tinus. One has been so damaged I cut it back to base, the other is untouched.

Have just googled verburnum beetle damage.  Wow, they really can cause havoc, at least I know what to look for, thanks for raising this.

Viburnum opulus can have its leaves destroyed by a sawfly leaving damage similar to that on gooseberries.
