Fruit cage parts

Two years ago I bought an 8' x 8' x 6' fruit cage from Marshalls. It's made from 16mm plastic coated metal stakes joined at corners by metal clips. Both poles and clips were damaged by snow 14 months ago (they've since added advice to remove net in winter), but they don't sell replacement parts. I did find spare stakes in a garden centre, but have been unable to find any suitable clips (Wilkinsons sell them, but only to fit the thinner stakes!). Does anyone know of where I might get suitable spare clips/joiners? (Two Wests and Elliott joiners are inserted inside the poles, so won't work.) Thank you!

Isn't it these

I've just seen on another thread (DIY cages) a suggestion of using PVC overflow pipes and connectors - this would maybe not be strong enough for the cage itself, but sounds like a good possibility for making a door (my cage had no door so keep having to lift the net which is a pain!), assuming I can hinge it to the 16mm frame.
Lyn - thank you for this, I had my hopes up, but unfortunately these are for the 11mm stakes.
Have you tried phoning them .
Yes, I'd already phoned them, Lyn but they don't/won't sell the connectors (16mm) on their own in spite of the cage coming from them. I've since tracked down a possible alternative from Botanico on Amazon. I hope to buy some from a shop based in Inverness (I'm going up there soon to visit family) - cheaper than Amazon's seller and no P&P! Just waiting to hear back from them to see if they stock the 16mm. Fingers crossed.
16mm fittings are used in aquarium plumbing - just another area to research if you can't find the bits you need, for example:

Thanks Bob, I'll definitely check out that option. If they fit, it'll be a great solution! (Only just seen your idea, not getting emails!)
