bare root plants

I got some bare root echinacea's yesterday that it said to soak for 12 hours which I've done.  Should i put them in pots for a month ? thinking esp with a hard frost today that prob best not to put them in the ground today.

Any advice??

    Hi yes best to put in pots for now, you could grow them on for this year and plant them out in the autumn they'll be a bit bigger than image

    Thank you for your advice, I've potted them up and will keep repotting them until autumn.
