Pinching out growing tips

    yeah they r def campanula Pritchards image

    im wondering, will there be new growth from the base or from the incision points?

    I have just googled the Pritchard, it is quite spikey. As it's campanula it will just all shoot out from the bottom in the spring won't it? 

    They don't want to be in the house though. 

    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    it was much easier to know where to cut on this Lemon Verbena, and also was easy to work out where the new growth would come from, but on the Campanulas single stems with opposing leaves its hard to figure it out

     im going away for a week so ill put them inside somewhere cool and then move em outside when i get back
