Summer Berried Plant Identification

Hi all.

After much searching I'm hoping one of you experts can help me out with identifying a shrub that is starting to grow in my garden. Hopefully it's straight forward and it's possible that me being a novice is showing.

First, some pictures. (Taken in mid July)

As you can see from the pictures, the plant is growing in amongst a few others. These are:

- Aucuba Japonica/Spotted Laurel (left of the shrub)
- Beech Hedge (Right of the shrub)
- Daffodils (in front of the shrub)

................................................

Some observations on the plant:

- Glossy leaves much like a grisilenia.
- Few, matte, red/pink berries in mid summer. The berries are still there at time of writing in August.
- Is growing well in a partial shade section of the garden, facing east.
- Appears to be evergreen.

................................................

Any help would be great!

Thank you.
