It's pretty stuff, sure enough, growing in a hedge or wall but it spreads everywhere, choking out the plants you want and covering the ground before you know it! It is difficult to weed out, too because every tiny tuber comes free very easily and makes a new plant. I don't use weed killers so I have spent many an hour on my hands and knees, trying to get the damn things out.

I just leave them. They come and then disappear. Admittedly they're in an otherwise I.hospitable part of the garden.
Saw some smiling up at me yesterday in the sunshine - I know that spring's here when I see the celandine flowering.
I know they're a PITA in the wrong place, but in the right place ... what a joy
