Chilean Guava

in Fruit & veg
Just wondered if anyone had tried to grow this? I read about it online but can only find one supplier (Suttons) and they only sell a 9cm pot so the plant will be tiny. I just wondered if anyone had any advice? Many thanks.

Thanks nutcutlet, I didn't think of that
I see Jekka sells them, surely I can trust Jekka (not having bought from her before). Good excuse for a nursery visit when she's open.
James Wong has them in his 'Homegrown Revolution' book. Some info here on his website: http://homegrown-revolution.co.uk/dessert-fruit/chilean-guavas/
That was where I saw them Sparkles, but his are only available via Suttons, I was just a bit wary of Suttons and I thought, in 9cm pots, the plants might be a bit small. I've now found 1 and 2l pot sizes so I shall investigate those, but thanks for the info. jandh
