no sow by date in T&M seeds
I bought some Thompson & Morgan flower seeds in a major garden centre and I noticed that none of their flower seeds show a sow by date, but their vegetable seed do show a date. I also notice that other brands, such as Mr Fotherhills and Suttons show a sow by date on their flower seeds. I do not like that. What are your thoughts about this.

If they are sealed in a foil packet, unopened seeds will last a long time. Most garden centres clear out old stock in September, then have new. I buy old stock chep and have had no problems.
I hoovered up seeds at 10p, yes 10p per pack in Wilkos at the end of last summer.
Some were sow by 2017, bargains indeed.
Unless they are very very cheap or even free, I don't buy T&M seeds. Not always reliable.
