seed sowing
in Talkback
For those gardeners who don't have a heated greenhouse or propagator, would you recommend the use of a pane of glass or plastic bag covering over a seed tray to help maintain a higher temperature for seed germination?

Yes Guernsey, an old but tried and trusted method.
I rely on Natures Own and sow them in Spring when it's warmer.
I then start them off in the kitchen or the conservatory then put them in the greenhouse when they are ready for pricking out, i dont put seeds in plastic bags I find they go mouldy.
