Try looking at Premier Seeds Direct. They only sell through e-bay and Amazon. I have bought loads of seeds from them, both vegetables and flowers. The seeds I bought were 99p per packet or just a little more and had a good number of seeds per packet. I also use Victorians Nurseries, Real Seeds and Plant World.

  • It depends what you want and it pays to shop around. The price of the same thing can vary widely between suppliers. Chiltern have the widest range with a lot of rarities and some exciting mixes if you are up for a lottery, but they aren't always the cheapest for 'standard' plants. I've used Mr Ben, and Nicki's Nursery as well as Seeds of Distinction, for mostly perennials but also some veg and found them all quite acceptable. It's worth checking seed numbers though for things you might want lots of, as cheaper packets often have lower numbers of seeds, probably of more importance for veg than perennials!
