How do I add a photo to my already existing Post (or Thread) From my iPad?

Unless yours is the last post on the thread, you can't.
if it is the last post, you can click 'edit' which will be in the bottom right hand corner of your post. Then click on the tree icon and follow instruction.
You can only edit (or add to) a post if there is not a subsequent post.
To edit/add hover your cursor over the bottom right corner of the window containing your post and click on Edit - your post will then appear in another window and you can edit in there.
To add a photo you need to click on the green tree icon on the toolbar above where your type your post.
Not sure of any particular iPad idiosyncrasies I'm afraid, but I'm sure someone who does will be along soon.
