Tree for shady spot

hi I want to put a small tree in a shady spot next to a driveway so needs to be columnar habit - any ideas?

    There's the columnar cherry Sarah -  Amanagowa, but I don't know exactly how much shade it takes. Do you want something that flowers?

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Yes will do, but think I must wait to see how much sun the spot gets in spring as currently it gets none!
