Rudbeckia seedlings

I am feeling really smug with myself as the Rudbeckia seeds that were sown on Monday are germinating already!  I used a heated propagator for the first time and am amazed with the speed of germination. I have never grown Rudbeckia before but have admired them in other people's gardens.  Can anyone tell me whether they are attractive to slugs?  I try to grow plants that the slugs don't feast on as I hate using slug pellets and also hate seeing all my tender loving care for plants being eaten by those horrid slimy insects a day or so after spending time planting them.

Slugs and snails like the seedlings, but are not keen on the larger hairy plants.

I use slug pellets on the benches in the greenhouse for seedlings, but  use slug pubs in the garden.
