question is I got some of above and what I want to know is I cut them down to 6ins from where it was grafted covered with fleece since last year and sprayed with water sparingly since ,,,,,, will they grow back of the original stem thanks michael

I don't see why not but I've not tried it myself - looks like you're doing the research for us
