Good evening, I've just opened GW and would like to take some ideas from Joe Swift's summer boarder. Trouble is, one of the main players are Alliums, which I've just learnt are bulbs which you plant in Automn. Is there another option? Pot grown ones which will flower this year? I don't want to wait 18 months!

Yes you can buy pot grown one but they are quite a lot more than you pay for the bulbs. Woottens have still got some bulbs for sale, they properly wont flower to well this year though.
Its always the wrong time for something isnt it? On the plus side you definitely dont want to put your bulbs into a border first (which i did), so really its not so bad, be patient.
