Wouldn't worry too much though - if you can remove the cause of the problem (regular water, or move it into a more sheltered spot) it will be fine next year. Its just its way of telling you its not very happy !
Hi, it is new. Its in semi shade so should be ok. It does get full sun for a couple of hours over the day.
Thanks for the comments and links- I think it is soil moisture. It was very pot bound when it arrives. I am thinking about lifting it and trying to tease the roots out a bit more, any thoughts.
