is it o/k to compost privet clippings. i/ve heard they are too acidic. cheers.

I've never heard that wrinkly1. our privet gets cut once a year, the big stuff goes through the shredder and the shreddings go on the garden. The little bits get picked up by the mower and go on the compost heap. Never found any problems that I could attribute to acidity
