Sweet peas

I have grown sweet peas in the same place, up a trellis by my greenhouse, for many years but don't seem to get the results I used to. As they are legume family, should they be rotated like a crop?

I grow mine in the same place each year, however I add plenty of home made compost each autumn and let it rot down over winter. I also feed them on a regular basis with tomato food and get hundreds of blooms each season. I am lucky in that I get free horse manure on a regular basis which all goes on the compost bins, so its pretty rich stuff by the time it gets spread.
Thanks, I do use homemade compost but will dig it in now to give it more time to rot.
