  • I have at least now managed to open my gifts. Worst part of this was that we were supposed to go spend the weekend up a friend's place and eat in a couple of good restaurants. They will still be there!

    Steve , why not celebrate your Birthday when fully recovered , just set a date , after all the Queen has an Offical and a real birthday 

    My dads birthday was the 21st June, so use to celebrate longest day then have an offical birthday a week later !

  • Definitely sufficient Tetley. I'm actually very well now. Mild muscle ache where the instruments went in so I have to rest at home for a few days. Weirdest part is that my belly button is now a new shape!

    Missed this thread Steve, sorry to hear about your unscheduled birthday pressie.  Hope you recover soon.  Good idea about a second birthday.  My daughter had to have her appendix removed the day before we were due to fly to Cyprus, if I remember right full recovery was about six weeks, so take it easy.
