Combatting the Spanish Slug

    We have those slugs in France. I've found they aren't nearly as destructive in the garden as the small grey ones. They tend to stay in rotting leaves in the woods, but when it rains in summer they come out on the wet grass.

    We get the big dark orange ones that do that - but these Spanish ones are different - they're mottled pale orange/beige/grey and devour everything image  I've only seen them in this garden in the last 18 months, whereas the big orange ones were here when we arrived.  I leave the big orange ones alone, but show no mercy to the Spanish onesimage
