Helibored stupid!
Can't go out in garden because I would do more harm than good on wet clay. Refuse to do anything boringly sensible like washing flowerpots. Can't go to garden centre because I'd buy something I can't plant.
Any advice? Amusingly ridiculous preferred.
In London. Keen but lazy.

Know the feeling. I am keeping myself amused by proofreading my stories so they can be published as books. Also working on a new story. But that is what amuses me.
Bit hard to suggest things for someone else to do. Have you any indoor hobbies which could be taken up?
Browsing Plant Porn, reading gardening books and cross stitch fills the gardening gap for me in the winter. You could always research some new jokes for Verdun's thread.
Hmm
Why not decorate a feature wall with some on-trend garden design wallpaper to look at?
Or I could look out the window
I like browsing through all the hundreds of pictures I have taken of my garden, looking for things that worked well, or good plant combinations, and things that need improving or working on. Makes me feel I am doing something vaguely useful, while recreating the pleasure I felt when things went right
Go do some weeding! They're coming out really easily.
I know what you mean! I have kept myself busy by planning this years borders, always like to change the display a bit.
At the moment I am enjoying browsing through some library books (as I'm still wearing gardening 'L' plates) - Perfect Plant,Perfect Place and The Winter Garden, so am using the time to educate myself!.
I also enjoy getting out my pencils and adult colouring in books, I have a variety- flowers, countryside, wildlife........its very relaxing.
Knitting, although I don't tend to make anything big these days, I am thinking of making some poppies for Remembrance Sunday.
Last but not least I always do my spring cleaning now as I don't like saving it for spring,,,,,,,,,,,I have much better things to do in my garden then!!!
