Thank you so much, Gardener John! Your reply brought me a big smile. Thank god I have not ruined my wisteria then, hopefully. I have ruined a few aubrieta seedlings last week & the guilt is there quite a lot.
Last few days have been colder than normal due to untimely rains, here. The graft seems a bit weak. I will apply a tape around the graft location to prevent any damage!
The plant has a very distressed look now, whereas my newly planted azaleas are flowering & sprouting new leaves. I will leave it on its hibernation for some time. As a life, it will adapt slowly, hopefully.
It is so amazing how the forum can connect so many helpful people to me & reduce my anxiety, yet sitting so far!!
PS - Northern England landscape is extremely scenic.
Thank you so much for your kind words!! It is tough to care for the plant properly after a 9 hour job. While trying to help, i sometimes make it worse for them. The whole process is very rewarding, though. I have received a lot of helpful responses from the forum. I will definitely share how my wisteria is doing & I will try to contribute to the forum, happily!
Today a few more leaves fell down one mere touch, but I had a very encouraging sign. A growth bud seems to be developing into new shoot. It made me happy. I am hoping for the best!!
A quick update. I had travelled for the past 20 days. After reaching home I saw my Wisteria has grown almost 11 feet!!! Before leaving it looked like a twig with no leaves. All those pictures I had posted were of leaves ready to fall, then.
The plant is growing rapidly now. Thanks a lot for helping me & not letting me lose hope on the plant. I hope it will flower in a few years.

and may revitalise in Spring.I have the identical grafted version here in Northern
England and its in its second year.Just now its looking sad without leaves but
before they fell off in October they looked similar to yours.
Maybe you could apply some tape around the graft to stop it breaking in wind
and keep out rain and just ignore it for a while,it may surprise you.
I wish you good luck with it.Its good to hear from Gardeners on the other side
of the world.
