It's too early for them - the most important ingredient in gardening is patience ... and lots of it.  When the weather was warmer some budded up, but the cooler weather has slowed things down.

Also some varieties bloom later than others.

If they're in bud you'll get flowers ... and hopefully when the weather isn't rough so the flowers won't get bashed about and damaged.

Here in the NE I have my first snowdrops flowering, some potted Iris Reticulata are just starting to flower too. As for daffs, I have several varieties, they are no more than an inch high if they are showing at all! Folk who have them in bud /flower are fortunate in my eyes it means winter is slipping into Spring. I'll have to wait my turn ????

There are a few daffs out around here in Norfolk, in very sheltered sunny positions.  My guess is that these are February Gold, blooming a couple of weeks early because of the mild weather we had up until a week or so ago.  Now it's turned chillier my guess is that we won't get any others blooming for a good while yet.  image
