New lawn maintenance
I seeded my new lawn at the end of August. It has turned out quite well bar a few patches that need repaired. This one in particular, should i just cover with topsoil and grass seed. When should I do this.
Some parts of the grass are a bit yellow, should I put down some winter fertiliser.
My grass looks great but walking on it you can feel its not level, quite bumpy, should I try and fix this, would a roller help flatten it...?

Hi Ajp45 and welcome
I wouldn't do anything to your lawn at the moment - leave it well alone and try not to walk on it. Wait until drier warmer weather to do anything - then take some photos and show us what it looks like

I'll just mention too that winter fertiliser is for application in the autumn to prepare the grass for the winter. No point in applying it in the winter as the grass isn't growing.
Also, I wouldn't put fertiliser on what is still a very young lawn

I already bought the winter green fertiliser from the lawn smith shop as when I bought the seed back in August I figured my lawn would be 4-5 months old come Winter and would probably be beneficial to give it some fertiliser over winter. Im thinking if it makes the grass greener then it will get rid of the yellow tinge over it.
Here is the tyre mark I'm referring to, i thought i uploaded it already...
When you say top dressing, what do you mean?
PS. My grass is most definitely growing, since seeding Ive cut regularly and I think the new lawn fertiliser I used has made the difference.
This is the stuff I got here which says Apply October-April...
Shame to see it go to waste, what harm could it do by applying?
