lol hazel i know what you mean,it was my dads can,he died 22 years ago,and i thought it would be nice to have in the photo,i used to help him in the garden when i was small,i dont use it ,it has a dent on the bottom, and does not stand up,but i hang it on the potting shed. i will grow my cosmos seeds in my conseratory,i havent got a heated greenhouse either.
thanks lg,thats nice of you,and tootles, iam very happy in my garden,so much cutting back needed, but cant get out there now, thanks for your nice comments.
hi snow, thankyou for your comments, yes i treasure that can now,lol he used to use it for giving water to his hens, and budgies, and plants,he died too young, and he always got me some summer bedding plants, now i like to grow my own,as much as i can,he grew all veg,and now i realise that we had good food, when you look back.
Caroline I have a watering can like that but it's too heavy for me when filled so I use 2 4pt milk carton. I have a conservatory instead of gh won't see flower seeds until next month, cosmos I'll do in march

my dads early 1960s
Mine, with ice just thawing.
Your garden looks wonderful, it is so hard not being out there ALL THE TIME.
Having a similar trauma here, my garden looked great in summer now just looks a bit sad.
