Thank you. I have contacted them before but you never get a response. I think unfortunately it is an all pervasive need to fill up any quiet moments. The need for music over everything on TV just drives me insane, my mum who spends her life in the garden has pretty much stopped watching it for the same reason. Even on something like Springwatch when they say "listen to...." and then cover it up with rubbish music. You could say it is a pet hate
Haha spot on. Of course on some shows they usually have as many superlatives crammed into a sentence as possible so we know to feel wonder, joy, sadness etc!

I really don't notice the music on GW except at the beginning and the end - I sometimes notice birdsong

the segments away from Longmeadow are the worst or if digging is occurring!
