I also find that I can just cut the grass on the spur of the moment without too much effort, as the battery is just ready to go, as Verdun said.
I have 2 lawns - together they make up a medium sized lawn. Bought a Bosch and even with two batteries it barely cut the lot. Sent it back to Bosch - they were not interested - eventually got a refund from Amazon. So beware.

Battery technology is improving all the time, but a cordless mower will be 3 or 4 times the cost of a similar corded mower.
The environmental impact of both the battery production and greater overall electricity consumption is also something I'd consider.
