That sounds a good plan Buttercup. My waiting list is long and will become very long later in the season after this year's germinationsimage

I just love growing things from seed, it's still like magic even after all these years. Every year I mark the things I would like and then have to cross them off again as the list of 'essentials' is far too long already. Some things have been 'would likes' for donkey's years, even though I try to include some new plants. But there are always tempting new arrivals too....image

I've got seed germinated, seed waiting to germinate, seed waiting to be sown later and seed not yet delivered. No hope is thereimage

My hellebores are doing really well, white in one border and a deep purple mixed with pale pink in another.  Also doing well is my delphinium - it's flowering away despite the bitter wind and rain this morning!!  I did give it a good talking to when it started to bud in the warm sunshine of late November but to no avail...

  • Nutcutlet when I was in the GC the plantsan was said that Honeysuckly is great for growing up Chimonanthus (sp) That's what I'm going to try this year. image

I hope your GC person knows what he's talking about ladygardener. I wouldn't put a honeysuckle through anything I valued. They climb by twining round branches, preventing further growth, digging into bark and spoiling tree,

    a good start Tetleyimage

I've got eccremocarpus through a mahonia, I didn't expect them to flower together but they were both there for the NYD flower count. As was the chimonanthus.

I don't expect that to happen every yearimage
