Grape vine prune advise please

i hope to find time to prune the grape vine today or tomorrow.
i do not know what type it is but it had masses of black grape bunches on it last year and was massive all over front porch and front of house and around to the side of the house. Last year I cut back a lot as needed to get to the front door! This was done late summer time I think and didn't bleed to death as I have read it should have! I really want to tidy it up hopefully at the right time of year now. Any advise much appreciated

Cut back hard to the framework now, leaving a stump with a couple of buds. This is where your fruit will come from. Late summer pruning doesnt bleed. If you winter prune too late and the sap is already rising, this is when it bleeds sap.
