Holly Horror
I have a standard holly that is approximately 6 years old. It is planted in the ground, rather than a pot and our soil is quite sandy. It is growing well in height and leaf production, but for the past 2 years the leaves have been curled - they do not open even when fully formed. On reading up about this I expected to find bugs/eggs inside the leaves but this is not the case. Does anyone have any ideas please?

a photo would help as how the leaves are curling could give an indication of if its a disease, pest or nutrient deficiency
Thanks treehugger80 and Verdun. Yes, I wondered about the soil being sandy. The roots were teased out. Maybe I will move it to a very large pot.
My job for the weekend I think
Many thanks for the advice.
