I tried one before and I found it useless, It was like a syringe type. Big seeds / average got trapped and small seeds stuck to the sides. I use my fingers instead, or sometimes a piece of white card.
Mix small seeds with a little dry silver sand, then sprinkle, you can see where they go. Larger seeds, in your palm, close slightly, you will find the seed sowing line Tilt and go.

I have always used a thumb and finger, tweezers for the larger individual planted ones.
