Aconite or Aconitum? I don't know, colour is far more intense than shown.

Not a big fan of red, but loved the velvety intensity of this.

Love the salvia, aconitum and pansy Busy Lizzie and Artjak.

Dimwit please remind me of the name of that lovely plant. I tried it in containers once in a NE facing courtyard I used to have- needless to say they weren't happy. For the life of me I cannot remember what it is called...I'd like to try them again.

Lyn, does the cerise and white dahlia at the front of your display have a name?

  • Oh, dimwit  (I don't like calling you that) your plant has gone! I must have posted while you were editing maybeimage

Wow... finally! Heliotrope 'Marine', in my warmer climate it blooms nonstop,
and, what is better, does not attract mites (my worst enemy). When the sun hits it, the smell is unforgettable.

Not a clue Victoria, i could get some seeds if you want. It came from a packet if mixed seeds last year.
