How to slow the development of gladiolus

Dear Friends,

My gladioli flower will be harvested in next month and I am afraid of that it will boom before my plan.

At the moment, it has 6-7 leaves, and I want to slow its development to bloom in time.

Please instruct me how to slow its development.

This may be difficult for you but reducing temperatures is the only real way to hold back flowering.
