    I have a small front garden that is steep and I need ideas for terracing on a limited budget and as I am trapped in the front garden due to the steps being too steep for me and no handrail, I need ideas about removing the concrete steps and building new ones that I can use, without the garden falling into the house! I want to grow some veg in planters and enjoy the early morning sunshine as it faces East.

    I have a rectangular garden with a rectangular patio at each end.  What's left of the garden is a square and rather dull lawn.

    I'm looking for ideas to really open the space out, without replacing both patios (one could be replaced).  I like lawn so my future kids can play, and I also would like space for some planting and a couple of apple trees.

    The house is slightly elevated so there could be a lovely view, which I'd like to make the most of to see more plants and birds.

    How can I give this garden some more interest?
