  • It's now into April and most of my Alium's are at the front of the border and I'd like to move them towards the back ...can I replant them as they're in bud ?

@jackiegent1966iylxU5N1 I wouldn't they will flop everwhere and it may upset the flowering. I purchased a pot of three once from a GC got them home decided to split them, roots were tangled they didn't flower and looked miserable. I would only purchase one per pot as a result.
I have tried planting in Autumn but my soil can be too wet for them over winter.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

Thanks for your advice , I'll leave them for this summer and move them when they're dormant .
