If they could take their words back.

I've been reading the latest Gardeners World over Christmas and I suspect one or two of the contributors are wishing they could take back some of what they've written.

Monty, for example, berates the use of colour coded extreme weather warnings saying that there's no such thing as bad weather, just people not being prepared enough.  I'd like to see him saying that to the people of Cumbria now.

Another article talks about the garden becoming dormant in the cold weather between November and February.  Yeah, right.  I think we've had one frost so far and most days temperatures have been in the 50s fahrenheit, 10+ Celcius.

I know the mag goes to press weeks in advance, but maybe a little more care with statements would be a good idea.
