It's a aloe vera succulent plant use it for burnsimage
  • Aloe variegata, also called tiger aloe.

  • Thanks both, I've got a Aloe Vera and it doesn't look the same also mine has very soft fleshy leaves?

does the variegated sort have different sort of leaves to the plain green?

I agree with Kleipieper, Aloe variegata - I know it by another name of Partridge-breasted Aloe.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloe_variegata .  The flowers are very pretty.

Although it's related to the Aloe vera, I don't think it's sap is used medicinally in the same way.
