This shrub, which usually flowers in April, is going strong already...not sure what it's called so if anyone can help that would be appreciated! Also got some early wallflowers and daisies!
rudbeckia indian summer (think January is stretching that concept quite far)
chanomeles - red one and madame butterfly
erysium bowles mauve
pulmonarias - blue ensign, opal and trevi fountain all going for it
rose - little white pet
then, more usual, hamamellis, winter honeysuckle, viburnum dawn, hellebores (oriental and stinking), cyclamen coum, rosemary, vinca, primroses, euphorbia, hazel catkins and gaulteria (if, like Fairy, I get to count the white blobs)
But still, indisputably the belle of the ball is my old friend Jackie P:
