Hakonechloa - poisonus to dogs?
in Plants
Just wondering whether Hakonechloa is poisonus to dogs - my new GSD keeps eating it. I know that, as a rule, dogs do know wha's good for them but this is the first one I've had that likes ornamental grasses! I've now got to devise a way to keep him away from it.

if he keeps eating it and it hasn't made him ill it's not poisonous. Grasses aren't as a rule.

My cats and dogs always seem to prefer the ornamentals I cultivate for display rather thatn the couch grass I could do with help getting rid of.
They like hakonechloa, new shoots on miscanthus and so on. Hasn't harmed them yet.
Why do they always go for the good stuff?
