Sempervivums
I have purchased a very nice collection of Sempervivum's over the past 6 months and as a precaution moved them into my cold greenhouse early this month. Although this has protected them from all the rain and wet weather I am concerned that a number of the collection have small light brown marks on the leaves. To be honest now I can look closely at the plants this may have already been present. Any advise would be appreciated.

Hi David
Can you show us a photo of the marks please - to upload a photo you need to click on the green tree icon on the toolbar above where you type your post and follow the instructions. If that doesn't work give us a shout ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Not all of the Sempervivums have these marks and it seems confined to the outer, old leaves. Do you think it could be rain damage!.
Thanks very much. Hope the damage will grow out next season.
One thing I'd be careful about, with them being in a greenhouse, is to make sure they have good ventilation David. If the temps are higher, humidity can be an issue.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thanks again Fairygirl I am hoping to construct an open fronted shelter so they can be outside but not drowned by all this rain!.
