Plant ID

Just completing a digital index of all my plants, and only this one (white) is still a mystery.  It looks like a bit like a Campanula to me, but I'm sure that's not what I bought.  Any thoughts?

Platycodon perhaps. There are white forms.

    Campanula 'White Clips'.

    East Anglia, England
  • I'd agree with one of the groundcover campanulas (Campanula carpatica.)  Pretty little things and unfussy. image

Don't campanulas have 5 petals as well?

    How big is the plant?

  • 'White clips' has 5-7 nut.  Definitely a Campanula.c. as I recognise the flower buds. image

  • The smaller flower does have 5 petals - the bigger one has 6 image

Thanks as always. Our digital index of all our plants (242) is now finished, and the paper indexing cards are on their way to the recycling bin.  Small pleasures...
