    KEF last time I emailed Woody he was ok just really busy to keep up with the forum, me trying to keep warm today really wet out there

    I think it should be Mottisfont, not Montisfont.  http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/mottisfont  The rose garden is lovely in June.

  • Oops you are right BL,sorry , should have proof read before posting! We are NT members and often pop in as it is so nearby especially when the roses are in full bloom in the walled gardens. Sometimes we just pack a quick lunch hamper and  dash over to either the walled garden or the banks of the river to enjoy our picnic, its beautifully handy.
