What size do the melons need to be supported,mine are now at tennis ball size. Keith.

    My RHS book says:

    Support each fruit with a net sling tied to the roof rafters or wires once the melons are the size of tennis balls.

    So there you are.

    All my melons are growing from the base not on runners
