My Poorly Plant - help

Hello lovely gardeners

Please can someone help me save my poorly indoor palm plant?

It has some horrible tiny black spots covering the stalk which then become big black spots on the leaves. The leaves even eventually go all black, dry and curly.

I've had a look online but I'm not sure whether treat this with a fungicide or not. Any help would be so much appreciated.

    Sounds as if you're over watering. Is the soil always wet? Should let it dry out a bit between wateringimage

    Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. I only spray the leaves most weeks but I've not had it long so it may have been over watered in the shop
