Amyrilis worries
Treated myself to an Amyrilis, it has a flower spike but only about 6 inches from the bulb and is in a very nice red ceramic oval bowl slightly bigger than the bulb with dry moss on top of dry compost. Here's my worry... if I water it... there is no hole in the bottom of the pot... HELP (again....)

I'd just get rid of the red bowl, and put it in something more appropriate. A pot with a hole and a saucer to sit it in.
Use the red bowl for fruit or nuts.

Thank you Fairygirl... You will enjoy the next bit...
I just went round to the greenhouse clutching red bowl, in order to follow your excellent advice......fought my way in through the detached bubblewrap insulation (another masterplan which didn't totally work)... removed the very dry moss from the top of the oval bowl... to reveal a moist pot sitting separately INSIDE the oval bowl.... duh!!!
