Long grass
The grass in my front and back gardens is looking long and lush due to high rainfall since what I hoped would be its last cut of the year. Can I cut it if we get a spell of dry weather or should I leave it until the spring?

If the grass is still growing and needs cutting I would cut it, just as Verdun has described - my only proviso would be that I wouldn't cut it if frost is forecast within the next few days - but that doesn't seem likely at the moment - at least not here in East Anglia .

Unfortunately we were away for two weeks so it's grown in our absence but I'll certainly try a cut as soon as it dries out a bit. Forecast for the next few days is looking good - even some sunshine!
Thanks for the advice
I'm in East Anglia too so no prospect of frost - fingers crossed for a good dry day at the weekend.

We're away as of Jan 5th and I'm not expecting either frost or a dry day in between.
