Ryan, in many ways yes, but when we oldies were 15, we had to actually engage in "real time human vocal interface", or " talking" as we used to call it.
Yes hosta, all the good films were kept back and never seen again. But the likes of Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House just kept coming round again, year after year.
eek. Am I too old, or too young to remember Mr B.....?
I watched JB last weekend too - you can't help singing along Hosta. Think you're right about the 7 year thing too. A new Disney film was a real event- now they just churn 'em out on an almost weekly basis it seems.
You'd love my Mum's favourite film - Random Harvest with gorgeous Ronald Colman and Greer Garson. I cry within the first five minutes and don't really stop
But Casablanca's the one that sets me off - when they sing the Marseillaise. I greet like a wean
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I don't suppose Ryan will believe that some of us are old enough to remember moving to a village where there was no electricity so, although we took our tv with us from the old house to the new one, we couldn't plug it in and switch it on for two whole years!
Neighbours came to look at it in our sitting room but, as they'd never seen one before, they couldn't imagine what it did
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

pansyface, It's a wonderful life is one of the best films ever made, ( but not better than Jungle Book)
Ryan, you're too young to remember stuff, some of us are too old to remember what we had for dinner last night.
it's just one of the most "life affirming" films of all time. I blub like a mad thing at the end.
